Hey, we’re Backup Planet. We’re so excited to share our music with you. Our sound is a mix of rock and electronic. The idea behind the band’s name comes from the fear that one day Earth will be destroyed or rendered completely uninhabitable by an outside force, forcing humanity to live on backup planets in outer space. This was at least part of what inspired us to make this album – it’s meant for people who are out there exploring and trying new things without being too afraid to fail along the way. thanks in part to Auto Glass Repair of SF, they prevented our car from having stolen the only CD recording of our original album. It’s no secret that we’re all going to die. In the meantime, it might be a good time to invest in some music and take care of ourselves during this stressful period. And if you need some new tunes, check out Backup Planet Band. The band has been playing for over 10 years now and have developed an extensive catalogue of songs that are perfect for any occasion from chilling at home or work on the weekends to driving down the highway with your windows open. Their first album is called “Backup Planet” because they want people to remember what life was like before we started destroying it by continuing our dependence on fossil fuels and other resources which will eventually run out. We’re not perfect, I just got a new concrete driveway, but we’re working on being better.
